About

Celvora is a self-awareness journal inspired by the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It keeps you company as you notice how you feel, see possible traps in your thoughts, and reframe them in your own words.

What methods is it based on?

Every tool in the app is a simplified form of an evidence-based technique:

  • Core CBT: thought records, noticing thinking traps, a single open question, and reframing.
  • Distancing, from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
  • Behavioral activation (the small step) and worry postponement.
  • "Three good things today" from positive psychology.
  • Techniques that settle the body: breathing patterns, 5-4-3-2-1 grounding, progressive muscle relaxation.
  • CBT-I-based principles for falling asleep: the close-the-day ritual, stimulus control, the restedness question.

We don't hide any of this either: under most tool screens there's a "Why does this work?" line — tap it and you'll see what the technique does, why it works, and its name in the literature. You don't have to read it: the techniques work even if you don't know the reasoning behind them.

Privacy

Your journal entries are your most sensitive data, and we treat them that way. What is collected, what goes to the AI, and your deletion rights are written in plain language on the privacy page.

How is AI used?

When you write a journal entry, the AI acknowledges your feeling, marks possible thinking traps in what you wrote, and asks a single open question. It never tells you what to do, doesn't diagnose, and doesn't write the reframe for you. If what you write points to a crisis, the analysis is not shown; the support lines screen opens instead — in a moment like that, what matters is talking to a person, not a question.
