Privacy
Celvora is a self-awareness app that keeps you company as you journal your feelings and thoughts. This page explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights over it.
What data is collected?
- Account information: when you sign in with Google or Apple, your email address and your name (if the provider shares it) are stored. Your password never reaches us — sign-in happens through the provider. If you choose “Hide My Email” with Apple, we receive an alias generated by Apple rather than your real address.
- What you write in the app: emotion check-ins, journal entries, your good things and worry notes, sleep and restedness marks, your prediction tests, your coping card, and your reminder preferences.
- What we don't collect: there is no usage analytics, no ad tracking, and no third-party cookies. The cookies we use are functional only: sign-in, language preference, and a short-lived one that counts where new sign-ups came from without linking it to you.
What is sent to the AI?
- For the journal analysis, the text you wrote is sent to the AI provider (Google Gemini); so the analysis can know you, a short summary of your history may be attached (your most frequent emotions and thinking traps, sentences said to you in earlier analyses and closings, at most one older sentence you marked as helpful, and your answers to the "how did it go?" question about recent suggestions), along with what you marked for that same day (that your restedness was low, your activity selections). Your name, email, or anything identifying you is never sent.
- For the weekly mentor note, your journal texts are not sent. Only the numeric summary (including the previous week's three numbers), at most one sentence you marked as "felt better", that week's "good things" entries, and — if you accepted one — last week's focus sentence go, so the note can speak about your real week. If you turn the weekly note off in Settings, this sending stops entirely.
- Beyond these analyses, your data is never shared with any third party and is never sold under any circumstances.
Deletion and your rights
- When you delete an entry, it is truly deleted; it is not kept in an archive. The system records of its analysis are deleted with it.
- You can export your entries any time with the print-friendly report in History.
- To permanently delete your account with all your data, you don't need to ask anyone: you can do it yourself from the "Your data" section on the Settings page. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
- Under data protection law you have the right to access, correct, and delete your data and to object to its processing. For any request, writing to us is enough.
Payment information
Nothing is sold in the app right now. When paid subscriptions open, your card details will still never reach us; payments will be processed only by the payment provider.
Not a health service
Celvora does not diagnose, does not provide treatment, and does not take the place of a mental health professional. If you are going through a hard time, we encourage you to see one. For emergencies, the numbers on the Support lines page are always there.
